The NYTimes.com has been migrating many new applications and platforms onto Amazon's EC2 infrastructure. By moving toward a service-oriented approach to communication between platforms and systems, they have been able to accelerate this migration process.
In his session at the 8th International Cloud Expo, Paul Robbins, Software Manager from NYTimes.com, will cover the hurdles of moving to a service-based approach and will discuss how this reduces many other infrastructure concerns and provides flexibility when determining a server environment.
Paul Robbins is a Software Manager from NYTimes.com focusing on front-end applications, specially on the cloud. As a software engineer, he helped move NYTimes.com to a service-oriented approach to platform communication.
